The Department of Biosciences, CIIT, Sahiwal was established in 2007. The biosciences faculty includes highly qualified and competent individuals with excellence in academics as well as research. The Library contains books of eminent authors on the subject matter of Biosciences. Biosciences laboratories at CIIT Sahiwal are well equipped and are further being upgraded. Therefore, the Department not only provides scholarly environment for teaching but also offers very conducive research opportunities. Following the esteemed traditions of academic excellence and scholarly research Department of Biosciences, CIIT Sahiwal is aimed to produce world class scholars and researchers with expertise in various disciplines of life sciences that will particularly promote the agriculture and health sectors of Pakistan.
